Il tuo skipper ti incontrerà e ti condurrà alla barca dove ti verrà mostrato il giro e ti verrà dato un briefing sulla sicurezza. In genere, lasciamo il molo intorno alle 11:00 e attraversiamo il porto di Chichester e poi nel Solent oltrepassando i forti storici. Successivamente, attraverseremo il Solent fino a Gunwharf Quays o West Cowes poiché entrambi i porti sono accessibili con qualsiasi stato della marea. Arriviamo a destinazione intorno alle 13:30, dove tutti possono scendere a terra per esplorare, pranzare e bere qualcosa. Vale la pena prenotare un posto per pranzo, ci sono tantissimi ottimi ristoranti. West Cowes: The Coast Bar - Cucina britannica e frutti di mare, The Basque Kitchen - Cucina mediterranea. Gunwharf Quays: qui ci sono tantissimi ottimi ristoranti. Intorno alle 14:00, se il tempo è bello, possiamo dirigerci verso la baia di Osbourne o verso est dove ancoreremo. Questo è un ottimo posto per rilassarsi e fare una nuotata o semplicemente bere un drink a bordo. Successivamente, torneremo a Chichester Marina. In genere, miriamo a tornare a Chichester Marina intorno alle 16:30. Se desideri continuare la serata qui, il Boathouse Café è il posto perfetto e ci sono anche molti altri pub e ristoranti nelle vicinanze. Cosa devi portare con te: se desideri gustare bevande o cibo a bordo, puoi portare con te le tue provviste. C'è un Tesco Express a Gun Wharf Quays e Co-op a Cowes se preferisci acquistarlo sul posto. Powered by twin Volvo Penta 575hp inboard engines - Hendricks is able to tackle any weather conditions and feels smooth even if its a little rough in the Solent. A Typical Day Charter... Meet at Chichester Marina by the Boat House Café. Your skipper will meet you and lead you down to the boat where you are shown around and given a safety briefing. Typically, we leave the dock by around 11:00am and motor out though Chichester harbour and then into the Solent past the historic forts. Next, we head across the Solent to Gunwharf Quays or West Cowes as both harbours are accessible at any state of tide. We arrive at our destination around 1:30pm where everyone can head ashore to explore and have lunch and drinks. It is worth booking somewhere for lunch, there are loads of great restaurants. West Cowes: The Coast Bar - British and Seafood, The Basque Kitchen - Mediterranean food. Gunwharf Quays: There are loads of great restaurants available here. Around 2:00pm if the weather is good we can head to Osbourne bay or East head where we anchor up. This is a great spot for people to relax and go for a swim or just have a drink on board. Next, we set off back to Chichester Marina. Typically, we aim to get back to Chichester Marina for around 4:30pm. If you wish to continue your evening here then there the Boathouse Café is a great spot and there are several other pubs and restaurants nearby too. What you need to bring with you: If you would like to enjoy drinks or food onboard, you are welcome to bring your own supplies with you. There is a Tesco express in Gun Wharf Quays and Co-op in Cowes if you would rather buy this on site. This boat is very well sheltered, but it can often get cool at sea so please make sure you bring warm clothes. Sun cream is also a good idea if the weather is looking good. Please ensure you wear non-marking flat soled shoes suitable for moving around on the boat whilst underway.
