Il Nautitech 44 Open è l'ultimo modello della gamma Nautitech di cui essere davvero entusiasti! Il nuovo design continua a basarsi sul concetto di successo "Open" offrendo allo stesso tempo prestazioni di navigazione "wide grin". Il 44 Open è probabilmente il catamarano da crociera più veloce disponibile per un noleggio a scafo nudo. Può puntare più in alto di qualsiasi altro cat da crociera (che non ha derive, che consumano spazio interno), grazie al suo piano velico ad alto aspetto, angoli di scotta stretti, timoni ad alto aspetto, un pescaggio di 4 piedi 9" e un'eccellente superficie velica per rapporto di spostamento. L'Open 44 rimane stabile, confortevole e decisamente divertente da navigare dentro e fuori dal vento. La bassa superficie bagnata consentita dagli scafi stretti e idrodinamici sotto la linea di galleggiamento consente velocità di crociera ottimizzate, mentre gli scafi a gradini a spigolo duro sopra la linea di galleggiamento offrono più spazio abitativo interno. Con la doppia posizione della timoneria a poppa, hai una visuale libera delle vele e del mare e puoi comunicare e goderti la navigazione con tutti i membri dell'equipaggio nel pozzetto. Un cambiamento rispetto al design Open 40, il posizionamento inferiore della scotta randa è facile da vedere e regolare per un perfetto assetto della vela dalla postazione di comando. Un boma basso sopra il tetto della tuga consente una maggiore efficienza della randa, una maggiore superficie velica e un facile accesso alla sacca della vela. L'avvolgifiocco di alto aspetto e il fiocco autovirante, con tutte le linee di controllo portate a poppa ai verricelli elettrici per entrambe le vele, fanno sì che il 44 Open sia un gioco da ragazzi navigare con equipaggio ridotto. L'interno del 44 Open è completo di ricca falegnameria che conferisce un ambiente caldo e moderno a bordo. Il pozzetto sfocia perfettamente nel salone (l'etica del concetto Open) offrendo lo spazio abitativo interno/esterno ideale per uno yacht ai tropici. La cucina è collegata al salone e alla cabina di pilotaggio, quindi non importa dove si trovi l'equipaggio, lo chef è parte della socializzazione. L'area del salone interno è accogliente e offre una disposizione modulare dei posti a sedere con cubi imbottiti che possono essere spostati in un divano letto, un poggiapiedi o sgabelli. Con una vista a quasi 360 gradi dall'ingresso del salone, puoi sfuggire alle intemperie o socializzare al tavolo del pozzetto pur continuando a tenere d'occhio l'ambiente circostante. A bordo c'è un'eccellente capacità del frigorifero con un frigorifero a doppio cassetto, un frigorifero nel pozzetto e un congelatore. La cabina dell'armatore, situata nello scafo di sinistra, è luminosa e spaziosa con oblò lungo tutta la lunghezza della cabina. Il letto è un letto queen-size e c'è molto spazio per riporre gli oggetti negli armadietti e nei cassetti. Lo scafo di dritta dispone di 2 cabine. La cabina di poppa ha un letto ad isola queen-size mentre la cabina di prua ha un letto matrimoniale rivolto a prua. La discesa è perfettamente integrata con armadietti aggiuntivi. Entrambi gli scafi sono dotati di servizi igienici e docce separati per consentire una facile convivenza tra gli ospiti. Il WC è dotato anche di un proprio lavabo. Ci sono pannelli solari montati sulle gru per gommoni e un pannello solare integrato sul tetto della carrozza. Ciò elimina la necessità di far funzionare il motore o il generatore per caricare le batterie al litio a bordo nelle giornate soleggiate. C'è anche un dissalatore Rainman disponibile per l'uso a bordo. Duality, è già uno dei cat charter a scafo nudo più veloci al mondo quando il vento si alza, ma con il suo codice zero o lo spinnaker asimmetrico che vola in aria da leggera a media, può percorrere miglia con una leccata impressionante ma facilmente gestibile! Se sei un velista esperto, saprai con quanta facilità un avvolgitore code zero può migliorare qualsiasi portata o lavoro con aria leggera sopravvento. Questa vela è progettata per darti una velocità extra in range di vento molto più bassi rispetto al fiocco autovirante. Non solo è un'eccellente vela per vento leggero, può volare fino a 20 nodi di vento apparente al lasco e offre un'impressionante potenza di 71,5 mq. Aspettatevi di vedere velocità della barca a due cifre nelle giuste condizioni. In condizioni di vento leggero, scottare entrobordo e utilizzare con angoli di vento più elevati. Vola la bugna più in alto con la vela scottata verso poppa della barca e avrai un codice zero che può essere utilizzato con vento più forte. L'accattivante spinnaker asimmetrico giallo, realizzato a mano per Duality, è imperdibile in mare. Issata in un calzino, offre 157 mq di tessuto di nylon da 1,5 once e può volare fino a 25 nodi di vento reale ad angoli più profondi. Questo rende il downwind da Anegada a Jost Van Dyke un vero spasso! Entrambe le vele virano al bompresso. The Nautitech 44 Open is the latest design in the Nautitech lineup to get really excited about! The new design continues to build on the successful ‘Open’ concept whilst delivering a ‘wide grin’ sailing performance. The 44 Open is probably the fastest cruising catamaran available for a bareboat charter. She can point higher than any other cruising cat (that does not have daggerboards -which consume interior space), thanks to her high aspect sail plan, tight sheeting angles, high aspect rudders, a draft of 4ft 9“and an excellent sail area to displacement ratio. The Open 44 remains stable, comfortable, and downright fun to sail on and off the wind. The low wetted surface area enabled by narrow, hydrodynamic hulls below the waterline allows for optimized cruising speeds while the hard-chined stepped hulls above the waterline give more interior living space. With the double aft helm station positions, you have an unobstructed view of the sails and the sea and you can communicate and enjoy the sailing with all the crew members in the cockpit. A change from the Open 40 design, the lower mainsheet track positioning is easy to see and adjust for perfect sail trim from the helm station. A low boom above the coach roof allows for extra efficiency from the mainsail, more sail area and easy access to the sail bag. The high aspect furling, and self-tacking jib, with all control lines led aft to electric winches for both sails, means the 44 Open is a breeze to sail short-handed. The interior of the 44 Open is complete with rich joinery which gives a warm and modern ambience aboard. The cockpit flows seamlessly into the saloon (the ethos of the Open concept) giving you the ideal indoor/outdoor living space for a yacht in the tropics. The galley conjoins the saloon and cockpit, so matter where the crew are, the chef is part of the socialising. The interior saloon area is cosy and offers a modular seating arrangement with cushioned cubes that can be moved around into a day bed, a footrest, or stools. With an almost 360-degree view from the entrance of the saloon, you can happily escape inclement weather or socialize at the cockpit table whilst still being able to keep an eye on your surroundings. There is excellent fridge capacity aboard with a double-drawer fridge, cockpit fridge and a freezer unit. The owner’s cabin, located in the port hull, is light and spacious with portlights along the length of the cabin. The bed is a full island queen and there is plenty of storage in lockers and drawers. The starboard hull features 2 cabins. The aft cabin has a queen-sized island bed and the forward cabin has a forward-facing double bed. The companionway is seamlessly integrated with extra storage lockers. Both hulls have separate toilet and shower units to allow for easy living between guests. The toilet unit also has its own hand basin. There are solar panels mounted on the dinghy davits as well as an integrated solar array on the coach roof. This removes the requirement to run your engine or generator to charge the lithium batteries on board on sunny days. There is also a Rainman watermaker available for use onboard. Performance Package – Downwind Sails There’s no better way to supercharge your BVI sailing experience than cruising through the azure Caribbean sea with a code zero or spinnaker flying. To our knowledge, only Horizon offer downwind sails on bareboat charter yachts. They are available on a select number of vessels in the fleet, and Duality is one of them! Duality, is already one of the fastest bareboat charter cats in the world when the breeze is up, but with her code zero or asymmetric spinnaker flying in light to medium air, she can reel the miles off at an impressive but easily managed lick! If you’re an experienced sailor, you’ll know how easily a furling code zero can enhance any reach or light air work to windward. This sail is designed to give you extra speed in much lower wind ranges than with the self-tacking jib. Not only an excellent light wind sail, she can be flown in up to 20 knots of apparent wind on a reach and gives you an impressive 71.5 sq.m of power. Expect to see double-digit boat speeds in the right conditions. In light airs, sheet inboard and use at higher wind angles. Fly the clew higher with the sail sheeted towards the aft of the boat and you have yourself a reaching code zero which can be used in higher breeze. The eye-catching yellow asymmetric spinnaker, hand-crafted for Duality, is unmissable at sea. Hoisted in a sock, she gives 157 sq.m of 1.5 oz nylon cloth and can be flown in up to 25 knots of true wind at deeper angles. This makes the downwinder from Anegada to Jost Van Dyke a blast!
