Ci siamo divertiti molto con Edu sulla sua barca. Edu è stato una guida fantastica e penso che saremmo un po' persi senza di lui. Ci ha mostrato alcuni posti bellissimi e ci ha aiutato molto a navigare nel mare delle Andamane. Tutto l'equipaggio è stato soddisfatto e posso sicuramente consigliare i suoi servizi.
We had a great time with Edu on his boat. Edu was a great guide and I think we would be a bit lost without him. He showed us some beautiful places and helped us with sailing around the Andaman sea a lot. The whole crew was satisfied and I can definitelly recommend his services.

Innanzitutto mi scuso per la risposta tardiva: ho continuato a viaggiare dopo aver navigato e volevo ricevere un'opinione dai miei amici.
Vorrei dividere la mia recensione in due parti.
Innanzitutto, Edu è un grande skipper, potrei imparare molto da lui. Ha mantenuto lo yacht molto pulito e ben gestito. Ha mostrato molti posti interessanti. Penso che sia eccellente per un noleggio con skipper. La zona di navigazione è fantastica
In secondo luogo, e penso che questo sia un difetto di Samboat, ho ordinato uno yacht per un noleggio BAREBOAT, non con skipper. L'ho menzionato diverse volte nella mia conversazione scritta. Ma Edu ha deciso di rimanere con noi per tutto il tempo. Poiché siamo tutti vecchi amici che navigano insieme da molti anni, la presenza di qualcun altro non era prevista.
Abbiamo riscontrato alcuni problemi tecnici che hanno reso la navigazione meno confortevole di quanto ci aspettassimo. Il produttore di acqua non funzionava ed è stato mandato in riparazione, quindi avevamo un accesso limitato all'acqua dolce e alla doccia. Abbiamo anche avuto alcuni problemi con l'aria condizionata.

First of all I apologize for the late response - I continued travelling after sailing and wanted to receive an opinion of my friends.
I would split my review in two parts.
First, Edu is a great skipper, I could learn from him very much. He kept the yacht very clean and well managed. He shown many interesting places. I think he is excellent for a skippered charter. The area of sailing is great
Second, and I think this is the Samboat fault, I ordered a yacht for BAREBOAT charter, not skippered. I mentioned it several times in my written conversation. But Edu decided to remain with us all the time. Since we are all old friends sailing together for many years presence of some one else was not expected.
Some technical issues we faced that made the sailing less comfortable that we expected. The water maker was not working and sent for repairment so we had a limited access to a fresh water, to a shower. Also we had some issues with the air conditioner.

Good to know your friends had a great experience and the yacht was very clean and well managed, I think was a misunderstood because in all samboat messages is clear that you will have a guide for free on board, and Edu as you know did his best to help as experimented skipper & profesional dive instructor with more than 12 years in Thailand, but anyway happy that you enjoyed the best of the Andaman Sea and hope we can sail again together in the future, best regards to all the crew!

It was a perfect two weeks trip.
It was good organised from the first moment till the end.
Edu knows all the nice spots and recommends the best time to visit them.
Sailing, diving, snorkelling and even free diving - Edu is an expert in all this activities.
The catamaran was very good equipped and very clean. It was enough space for 10 people.
It is quite fast under sails and light to handle.
Edu was very polite and careful. The crew security is very important for him.
We will definitely come again to discover new islands and dive spots with Edu.

From our side more than happy after this 2 weeks on board with all your family & friends, especially with the little one's, we love to have kids on board and for sure safety ls always a priority, but we also did our best to sail as you like & show you our beloved underwater world, we did snorkel & diving together and also happy to introduce you to the new freediving experience and make all 10 of you happy @ the amazing Thai islands & pristine beaches!
Not lucky, jajjaja, but also tried our best for sport fishing too, so we'll have to try again in the future... Just waiting for you to sail again together @the Balearic's or @new Similan's & Myanmar sailing route.

Edu & Monica were perfect host making us feel totally at home on their lovely sail boat. They have a wealth of knowledge on sailing and diving in the area and made sure all our expectations were not only met but exceeded. My wife and I had an amazing experience sailing in Thailand with Edu and Moni for our honeymoon. We did not have to worry about a thing during the trip, we trusted Edu to the itinerary and every day was perfect. Sailing with Edu allowed us to see more of the Andaman Sea and Phang Nga Bay then I could have hoped for. My wife, who has never stayed on a boat before, says she could not have had a better honeymoon, and she wants to do this trip again. Every night we were able to experience food from a different local town or a beachside resort. While underway Moni would make sure you had lunch and snacks and kept the cabins clean. Edu met us at a local grocery prior to departure and let my wife use their stove (she enjoys cooking). I love to scuba dive and Edu being a dive master meant personal guided dives along some shallow reefs which is just another of the benefits offered on his boat. I hope to sail and dive again one day with Edu either here or in the Balearic islands. A++++

Edu was simply fantastic. We were two families with 4 teenagers for a total of 8 people plus Edu. Edu has great knowledge of planning great destinations and always being safe with regards to weather conditions and routing. We had great beaches and anchorages, excellent diving and the boat was in very good condition. Could not ask for anything better for a trip. We wish Edu & Monica a wonderful wedding celebration.

We really enjoyed sailing with Edu. He is very helpful and take us to many spots for snorkelling. He walked me through sailing . I enjoyed subwing activity and his hospitality was great. All other team members extremely happy. Highly recommended.

Edu and Jennifer was charming, professionnel and discret.
Their compagny was of the most enjoyable. The meals concocted by Jennifer were tasty. We appreciated the fruits dishes.
