The original boat I reserved was not available so I was upgraded before later being downgraded to an older version of the one I had originally reserved. When I raised this I was told by the office that the one I had ordered was broken and I saw they had rented the original upgrade to someone else. I pushed it a little and they refunded me the difference between the rental I had paid for and the one I received.
In terms of the boat, it was a little old and had a smaller engine than I had wanted but was otherwise fine for our purposes. We did have an issue mid-trip where the engine suddenly stopped and there was no electrical power. I managed to reset it after about 5-10 mins of pushing different fuse buttons etc so in the end was fine but at the time not a great experience. I raised this with the office who were surprised and very apologetic.
Overall, the rental was fine however and the office friendly and helpful.
